Moves planned in waves. Exits an auditor can follow.
Data center migrations, server moves and decommissioning, written into a statement of work with waves, rollback and acceptance tests. Your team owns shutdown and start-up; we own the physical work, the labels and the paperwork. Insured IT movers handle transport, and certified partners handle data destruction and recycling, with every drive logged and sealed until it leaves.
- Data center and server moves
- Insured transport partners
- Drives in sealed custody
- Destruction and recycling via partners
Sounds familiar
“Forty servers have to move to the new facility in one weekend.”
What’s included
WHO DOES WHAT
Clear ownership on every wave
If a move needs more hands than one engineer, the plan says so and names who joins, before you sign.
How the job runs
- 01Survey and inventory of the racks, rooms and assets involved.
- 02Plan in a statement of work: waves, dependencies, rollback, acceptance tests and a disposal decision for every asset that leaves.
- 03Power-down by your team; drives pulled and sealed first, then de-rack, label and pack by us.
- 04Transport by an insured partner, or collection by certified destruction and recycling partners with signed transfer forms.
- 05Re-rack and verify while your team starts up, or a final report that reconciles every serial.
What you get
- Survey report and migration plan
- Labelled asset register and transport manifest
- Post-move test results and handover pack
- Drive custody log with serials and seals
- Destruction certificates and BDO documents
What we need from you
- A written statement of work and a rollback plan
- Both facilities’ access and dock bookings
- Target racks ready and powered, uplinks provisioned
- A named decision-maker on call for every wave
- Your written disposal decision per asset
How it’s priced
Every project starts with a survey, credited to the project. Moves and de-installs are priced per server and drive custody per drive; larger jobs get a fixed price from the wave plan or are priced by engineer day. Transport, destruction and recycling are passed through from partners, with handling shown separately.
Exact figures come with your written quote.
Best for
- Tenants consolidating racks, changing facilities or leaving one
- Offices closing a server room
- Regulated companies that need an audit trail for every drive

Questions
Who switches the systems off and on?
Your team, always. We do the physical work and verify links and LEDs; shutdown and start-up decisions stay with you.
How far ahead should we plan?
Usually two to six weeks, with waves in evening or weekend windows.
Do you destroy the drives yourselves?
No. We log and seal every drive, then a certified partner destroys it with a per-serial certificate that goes into your report.
Who handles the BDO paperwork?
You, as the waste producer, raise the transfer card; we prepare the inventory and coordinate with the recycler so it’s straightforward.
