HOW WE WORK

Eight steps. Every job. Written down.

The same operating standard sits behind every request, from a single power cycle to a data center move. It is the reason the closure report can be trusted.

  1. 01
BEFOREQualifyWe check the site is in our service area and the task is something we do. If it isn’t, we tell you who does.
  2. 02
BEFOREScopeTask, asset, window, remote contact, parts and access are confirmed in writing, with the price.
  3. 03
BEFOREAuthoriseYou approve the change; the facility authorises access for the named engineer.
  4. 04
BEFOREPrepareWe review logs and photos, check the part number, plan the steps and the rollback, and check access the day before.
  5. 05
ON SITEExecuteWork done in your window, with your engineer on the line for anything unexpected.
  6. 06
ON SITEVerifyThe tests we agreed: LEDs, BMC, link lights, light levels, POST.
  7. 07
AFTERAcceptThe closure report goes out the same day. You accept it or raise questions.
  8. 08
AFTERInvoiceSingle jobs are invoiced after acceptance, at the agreed price, with escort and parts costs on separate lines. Plans and hour blocks are billed in advance.

The acceptance rule. If something unexpected turns up on site, we stop and call before expanding the change. Extra time is billed only after you approve it.

What we commit to

  • A reply to every request within four business hours, with scope, availability and price.
  • A closure report the same day as every visit; audit reports within two business days.
  • Your runbooks and report templates followed by default.
  • When we work for a partner, the partner owns the client relationship, always.

Rules on site

  • Confirm the asset by serial and label before touching anything.
  • Never expand a change without approval; if something unexpected turns up, stop and call.
  • Photos only where the facility allows it, and never of other customers’ equipment.
  • Failed drives stay in a logged, sealed chain of custody until handed to you or your partner.
  • ESD protection and each facility’s safety rules; no work on power circuits.

WHEN THINGS DON’T GO TO PLAN

What happens if…

Access is refused at the doorWe check access the day before to avoid it. If it still fails, the visit minimum applies and we rebook at the first slot you choose.
The part is wrong or missingWe don’t improvise. We photograph what is there, report it, and rebook when the right part is on site.
The swap doesn’t fix itWe stop and call your engineer before going further. Extra time happens only after you approve it.
We find something else brokenWe note it in the report under open items, ranked by risk, and don’t touch it without your approval.
We’re running lateYou hear from us before the window starts, not after.
