FAQ
Questions, answered before you ask.
If yours isn’t here, send it with your request or email us.
Booking
What do you need to book a job?
Site, asset and serial, your window, a remote contact, and whether access and the part are arranged. Scope is confirmed in writing first.
How fast do you reply?
Within four business hours, with scope, availability and a price.
Do you cover my area?
Kraków and the Skawina data centers as standard. Up to 40 km with a travel fee per visit; Katowice and the rest of Silesia as planned half-day visits. Elsewhere, ask and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can cover it.
How far ahead should we book?
Scheduled work two or more business days ahead; next window usually within one business day in the core zone; installs five or more days ahead.
Do you offer urgent call-outs?
Yes. Our engineers go out the same day where possible, care-plan clients first, and the arrival time is confirmed when you call. Rack Care Plus includes an engineer on site within 4 business hours in Kraków and Skawina; other guaranteed response times are agreed per contract.
What if your engineer is ill or on holiday?
Scheduled work is booked around planned leave. If illness stops a visit, you hear from us before the window starts and we rebook at the first slot you choose.
Offices and branches
Do you come out for one device or one switch?
Yes. A standard office visit covers the first two hours on site, and small tasks can be grouped into one visit or a care-plan visit.
We already have an IT provider. Can you still help?
Yes. We can be their hands in your office: they keep admin rights, we do the physical work.
Who keeps admin access?
Your IT team or provider. We do the physical work with them on the line, and never ask for more access than the job needs.
Can you help outside office hours?
Planned evening or weekend work, yes, at the out-of-hours rate. We don’t offer 24/7 support.
We have no IT person at all. Who can help?
Our sister brand ByteHelp looks after small businesses in Kraków with no IT person: bytehelp.pl.
On site
Do you handle facility access?
Most data centers need your authorisation for the named engineer. Escort fees pass through at cost; we check access the day before.
What if the swap doesn’t fix it?
We stop and call your engineer before going beyond the agreed change. Extra time is billed only after you approve it.
Can you supply the parts?
We work with the part you ship to the site, or buy small parts on your approval at cost plus 10% handling. We don’t resell hardware.
Do you do electrical work?
No. Power circuits and UPS work go to the facility or a licensed (SEP) electrician.
Pricing and billing
Where are your prices?
Plans and starting prices are on the pricing page. Everything else depends on the site, the window and parts, so you get a fixed written price before any work starts.
When do you invoice?
After you accept the closure report, or after two business days without objection. Payment is due in 14 days; the first ad-hoc job is prepaid.
What if we cancel?
Less than 24 hours before the visit, 50% of the visit minimum. Failed access or missing parts on the day, the visit minimum.
Reports, data and security
Which languages?
Brief us in English or Polish. Reports come in the language you choose, or in your own template.
Is your engineer vetted?
Yes: a criminal-record certificate (KRK) and an NDA for anyone who works on your site. Insurance and a data-processing agreement are in place before first site access.
Do you take photos of our equipment?
Only where the facility allows it, and never of other customers’ equipment.
Partners
Do you work for our competitors?
For partners, yes, under the same non-solicitation and confidentiality rules for each. Your clients stay yours.
Can you work under our name?
Yes. Neutral presentation, or in your name if you prefer, with your report template.
