ABOUT
Small on purpose. Strict on process.
ByteHands is an independent smart-hands service run from Kraków by data center hardware engineers. We do the physical IT work for teams that manage their infrastructure from somewhere else.
Why ByteHands exists
Remote teams run most of their infrastructure without ever seeing it. That works until something physical breaks: a drive, a PSU, an optic, a cable nobody labelled.
Operator remote hands are often limited to one building and basic tasks. General IT shops focus on desktops. What is often missing is an engineer who diagnoses before travelling, follows your runbook and proves the work with a report.
That is the whole idea: a named engineer, a written scope, the work done once, and a closure report the same day.
ByteHands was founded by a data center hardware engineer who spent years on the other side of the ticket, waiting for someone on site to do the one physical step. It is the service he wanted then: engineers who follow the runbook, says what he saw and proves it with a report.

GOOD QUESTIONS
What you’d ask a small company
What we are not
- Not a call centre: the engineer you brief is the one on site.
- Not a reseller of hardware or colocation.
- Not a 24/7 NOC: we respond to your alerts, we don’t watch your systems.
